CSE & PPT Meetings
Preparation for and attendance at CSE (Committee on Special Education) and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings, as well as mediations, are essential for ensuring that students with special needs receive appropriate educational services and supports.
These meetings and mediations provide an opportunity for parents, educators, and other professionals to work together to develop and revise a student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP), which outlines the student's goals, accommodations, and services. By preparing for and attending these meetings, parents can actively participate in the decision-making process and advocate for their child's needs and preferences.

In addition, these meetings and mediations help to ensure that all parties are on the same page and have a clear understanding of the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning needs. This can facilitate better communication and collaboration among all members of the student's educational team. It can also help to identify any areas where the student may need additional support or accommodations, as well as any potential barriers to their success.

Our preparation for and attendance at CSE and PPT meetings, as well as mediations, can help to ensure that students with special needs receive the individualized attention and support they need to succeed in school and beyond. It can also help to create a positive and collaborative relationship between parents, educators, and other professionals, which is essential for providing the best possible educational experience for students.
